If anything, allow these to protrude from the log, they will be sanded even with log surface after drying a week or more. Logs have been stained due to rain forecast before they will dry. Later sand flat with grinder sand pad.

These should ideally set up for a week if possible. Then use the 30 grit wheel grinder to flatten their surface even with log. Careful with grinder!!!

Do not even dream of spray painting logs. Use a brush and rub in each drop as if giving a back massage. Work each crack until it overflows with Sickens, return half hour later and dab up run off.

Finish out the upper story log siding. Palm sander with 80 grit, then 2 coats Sickens Cetol 1 Natural, followed by 2 coats Sickens Cetol 23 Natural. Add 2-3 more coats of Cetol 23 where siding has sun cracks.
