Cisco reports that a recent additional 50% excavation of the ruins has been completed since my last visit. I return to see the progress of this seldom visited archeological site.

Date: 06/21/2012 Views: 6391	The city of Ocosingo is a 2.5 hour bus from San Cristobal and has 10 peso combi rides to the ruins as well as 150 peso taxi rides. Last combi back to town from the ruins is 6PM and ruins close at 5PM. Date: 06/22/2012 Views: 8202	It's a little hot in Ocosingo during the day, so the 80 peso premium added to the normal 350 peso room price at the Hotel Margarita was appreciated.
