Slightly east of the northern extension of Utrilla and on the Perieferico lies Orquideas Moxviquil. I last saw this place 3 years ago and I was anxious to return to see what had been done.

Unfortunately it began misting rain and I was not able to capture the full essence of the outside gardens. Still it was remarkable seeing them for a distance and all that had been done.

This is a true work of art in the appropriately artistic and surreal city of San Cristobal de las Casas.

So much growth on the young plants since my last visit.

A few moments after quickly walking the grounds, the rain came peppering down. The greenhouse offered both a shelter and a fascinating area for exploration while the storm passed.

There had to be minimally triple the growth since my last visit.

And the microcosm was in full bloom!
