Orquídeas Moxviquil Revisited + Maya Museum of Medicine

In just 3 years this place has really grown! Raining the day we visited, we weren't able to completely capture all the changes in pictures. Inside the greenhouse was a different story; it was simply phenomenal and overbearingly beautiful.

During our visit to the garden we also visited the nearby Maya Museum of Medicine.

After facing the possibilities of the Chamula Shamans and their chicken blood letting ceremonies, needless to say I feel a little nervous about entering this place of solitude. Each of them entered in turn with a bundle of weeds of sort and a raw chicken egg. In this case I think curiosity killed the chicken. Date: 06/25/2012 Views: 1557
