Orquideas Moxviquil - Chiapas Showcase Botanical Garden

Orquideas Moxviquil - Chiapas Showcase Botanical Garden. A growing project instigated by friend Cisco Dietz. The idea began to form shortly after 1994 with Cisco's move to Chiapas and in 2009 ground was broken. It has been one year since our last visit and how it has grown!

This Chiapas wild orchid rescue and ecological project is in dire need of your support and donations are graciously accepted at http://www.orchidsmexico.com/ With $100 or more you receive your personal embossed paving stone!

Orchids are a major part of this presentation but not all of it, as flowers and all kinds of native plants including ferns and cacti are planted here.

Plan is for 3 more greenhouses designed for different temperatures and humidities to simulate the different elevations of the various strains of plants that grow native only at that particular elevation.
