Strange lady at one of the 8 or so mini bus stops on the way to Alvarado from Veracruz.

Left size of road is beaches for properties located on the right.

Initially there are new looking high rise condos, then the property goes down scale to more and more old & shabby looking shared wall beach houses, still with beach across road.

We pass a really shabby part of town before Veracruz city turns to open country.

Pass 4 small villages on the 60KM trip to Alvarado.

Pineapple groves and cane fields predominate as cultivated areas.
