Ferry departs Holbox at 7AM. No cabs this morning and I finally realize my packing mistake of too much stuff after a 5 block walk lugging it all.

In Cancun, I start to jump on the bus to Playa del Carmen but have a second though, I am on no schedule.

I have long yearned for a repeat of the food friend Juan introduced me to, native Yucatan. The one block walked described to the restaurant turns into 3. This fish is delivered while I wait for my dinner.

I must keep with my tradition of kissing the fish. This one has a stronger aroma!

Back to the bus station, this chica is begging to get snapped.

All the rushing lands me with a 2 hour ferry wait. What's to do in Playa del Carmen but grab some photos. A one dip ice cream costs $7 US here but I am hot tired and need a snack.

Playa del Carmen is not a shopping mall but a very expensive and fancy shopping mall.

I refuse to buy a drink at anywhere named "Senior Frogs". Here is the beachfront for that bar.

No friends in all the familiar places.
