Another age-old famous restaurant of Cozumel, La Choza. It still seems to be thriving.

Sadly my second favorite restaurant, El Capi Navigante seems to be boarded shut. I try several nights but never find them open. Again, once a thriving restaurant before the economic downturn, Wilma and massive all-inclusive hotel conversions.

I fall victim to become a big-box-hoe at the Mega, stopping to take home one of these cinnamon swirls that is dripping in creamy frosting.

Heading home always comes too soon for me in Mexico. The simple little ferry terminal had now turned into a multi story high security enclave. I have to wonder if a terrorist has ever blown up a ferry - and why.
