Many of the buildings have date stamps from the 60's. I am so tempted to purchase one of these hole in the walls, as they face the beach on the other side. Nice little fixer upper! Hey but the nearest Wal-Mart(ish) is 2.5 hours away.

The local hardware store. Walmart wouldn't touch this town if it meant closing every business within 50 miles (which it often does).

A walk down the main street shows not a single restaurant or store open off the main square. It is really LOW season.

There are now 4 beach palapa restaurants open instead of the two that were open last time. I go to my favorite where I always get delicious ceviche.

I encounter change #2 since my last visit, you can no longer order beer on the beach before 12 noon! A slippery slope but the waiter seems hard nosed about it.
