It's an hour bus ride up the mountain from Morellia to Patzcuaro. The city, most famous for it's yearly "Day of the Dead" festival, serves as a quaint tourist destination on other days with a climate and "attitude" similar to San Migu

Sis is grinning from ear to ear. I am ill but I have felt worse so I am struggling along. While she was exploring I saw a doctor in Morellia (for around $17 US!) who gave me medicines to help with my diarrhea.

Down the street at the Hotel Parroquia and perhaps as a courtesy we were placed in a corner room. Unfortunately it had less ventilation and my condition was approaching...

After an overnight in the small local hospital (click to read) I slowly recovered, enough to take these photos the next day. A miracle indeed!
