The Hotel Villa Real is my home away from home or the place I stay when friend Cisco's B&B is full. It has Internet, private bath and this lovely young girl that remembers me on each visit. I have watched her grow up from a young girl to woman. S

One of my favorite spots that always forces me to stop and stare each time I make my way from Calle Tonila to the center of this beautiful city.

If I had a chair, I could sit here forever. Cool and crisp, the smell of rain in the distance. Oh San Cristobal, you beg so dearly for my heart.

There is no easy way to get from San Cristobal to Chiapa de Corzo, a route through Tuxtla is required. So the Sumidero Canyon tour costs less that 2 two hop bus tickets. So it makes sense to use a tour company.
